During the meeting, the officials exchanged views over the latest developments in Iran’s nuclear activities in the framework of reducing commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Rafael Grossi arrived in Tehran on Saturday night to hold talks with Iranian officials.

The visit comes amid a countdown to the deadline set by Iran slated for February 23 to end the voluntary implementation of Additional Protocol.

Meanwhile, Iran has always stressed that the reduction of its nuclear obligations is reversible, and whenever the parties to the deal fulfill their obligations, Iran will return as well.
