Entire world hears American people’s voice of oppression: Iran

Tehran (ISNA) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi stressed that the entire world has stood by the American people and heard their voice of oppression.

Speaking at a weekly press conference on Monday, Mousavi said, “The US regime is following aggression and bullying simultaneously in and outside the United States”.

The spokesman expressed regret over the violence the US police perpetrated while being watched by the world people.

He urged the US police and administration to stop oppression and aggressive conducts against its people and let them breathe.

Mousavi further rejected any interference by Iran in internal affairs of America, saying, "Tehran is concerned about the situation in the US because the country, the so-called advocate of the human rights, is taking brutal behavior towards its citizens, especially the black community".

Elsewhere in his remarks, the spokesman announced that Sirous Asgari, an Iranian scientist jailed in the United States, is set to return to the Iran within days.

”Sirous Asgari’s case has been closed in America and he will probably return to Iran in the next two or three days, if no issues or obstacles come up,” Mousavi said.

Mousavi also noted, “Iran practises its free trade rights with Venezuela and we are ready to send more ships if Caracas demands more supplies from Iran.”
