Iranian films to be screened at EFM

Tehran (ISNA) - European Film Market, held along with 70th Berlin International Film Festival, will host a number of Iranian films.

As one of the most important film markets in the world, EFM has included “Namo” (The Alien) directed by Nader Saeivar, “Yalda, a Night for Forgiveness” by Massoud Bakhshi, “Selfie with Democracy” by Ali Atshani, “Son-Mother” by Mahnaz Mohammadi, “Spako” by Shahrokh Panahi, and “There Is No Evil” by Mohammad Rasoulof in its schedule.

“Kiarostami and His Missing Cane”, directed by Mahmoud-Reza Sani is another Iranian film participating in EFM.

“There Is No Evil”, “Namo” and “Yalda, a Night for Forgiveness” will also attend Berlinale’s Competition, Forum & Forum Expanded and Generation sections, respectively.

70th Berlin International Film Festival is being run from February 20 through March 1 with acclaimed British actor, Jeremy Irons at the head of its jury.
