University of Tehran to advance cooperation with Chinese universities

Tehran (ISNA) – President of University of Tehran, Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi said, internationalization is of the triplex goals of the university’s five-year plan and it is trying to advance research and training cooperation with universities of China as a strategic state in international cooperation.

In a meeting with a delegation from Beijing International Studies University, he introduced University of Tehran and its affiliate institutions.

The Chinese delegation, for its part, showed interest to develop short- and long- term cooperation by exchanging professors and students, research missions, study opportunities and joint courses with University of Tehran, especially in the area of foreign languages and tourism.

The two sides agreed to seriously consider holding joint training workshop on tourism and ways of attracting Chinese and Iranian tourists as well as study opportunities for professors and students in future cooperation plans of the two universities.
