Busan Film Festival to host 7 Iranian films

Tehran (ISNA) – Iran is due to attend Busan International Film Festival with seven representatives.

“Among the Hills”, Mohammadreza Keivanfar’s first feature film and “Diapason” directed by Hamed Tehrani are Iran’s representatives in the festival’s “New Currents” section.

The section hosts 14 films from across the world in which they will compete to win Busan’s prize.

24th Busan Film Festival will also screen five Iranian films in “A Window on Asian Cinema” section, including “When the Moon Was Full” directed by Narges Abyar, “Suddenly Tree” by Safi Yazdanian, “7.5” by Navid Mahmoudi, “African Violet” by Mona Zandi Haghighi and “Cinema Donkey” by Shahed Ahmadlou.

24th Busan International Film Festival will be held October 3-12 in Busan, South Korea.
