Iran’s Parliament to send a delegation to Myanmar

Tehran (ISNA) - A delegation from the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Parliament of Iran intends will be dispatched to Myanmar to investigate the situation of the Rohingya Muslims..

The members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Parliament of Iran announced in an emergency meeting on Wednesday that a delegation of this committee will travel to Myanmar to evaluate the situation and the humanitarian aid of the parliament and the deputies will be sent for the Muslims of this country.

The committee held the emergency meeting in the presence of Iranian deputy foreign minister for Asia and Oceania, Ebrahim Rahim-Pour to evaluate the tragedy of the Rohingya Muslims genocide in Myanmar and the practical measures necessary to put an end to these crimes.
