Pakistan’s FM due in Tehran on Monday

Tehran (ISNA) - Iranian foreign ministry spokesman says the Pakistani foreign minister will arrive in Tehran on Monday at the head of a political-economic delegation.

In a Sunday statement, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi said Pakistani FM Khawaja Muhammad Asif will meet with high-ranking Iranian officials during his one-day visit.

Bilateral, regional, and international issues will be high on the agenda of talks between Iranian and Pakistani sides, he added.

Muhammad Asif, who will head a high-ranking political and economic delegation, is planned to meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, and Vice-President for economic affairs Mohammad Nahavandian, Qassemi noted.
