Tehran (ISNA) – Azar neighborhood is an old part of Qom city featuring most historical places of the city.
The neighborhood, which has a dense texture with narrow alleys, played a central role during the demonstrations against the Pahlavi regime before the Islamic Revolution.
Most People in this neighborhood live traditionally and speak with Qom’s accent.
In the old bazaar of Qom, located in Azar neighborhood, shops still provide traditional facilities for people there.
