Tehran (ISNA) – Three Siberian cranes migrated to Iran 12 years ago in winter, but one of them was shot dead at that time.
The next year, the two surviving cranes called Omid (hope) and Arezou (wish) came back to Iran, but Arezou was killed.
Since then, Omid migrates to Iran every year while being alone. Currently, it is wintering in Fereydunkenar city of Mazandaran province.
The Siberian crane migrated five thousand kilometers to reach Iran.
