Tehran (ISNA) – Formation of a new city without a central core, apart from social, economic and political issues, is a complex phenomenon which challenges the way humans interact with nature.

A new city which is built in a short time shows the evolution of human and the start of urbanization.

When people move to a new place, they start to change the natural environment which challenges the interaction between people and the environment, but in the end humans overcome the greatness of the nature, a cycle between human and nature which has caused the formation of cities during thousands of years.

Population growth and the increasing migration to big cities cause the architects of the cities to look for a solution to solve the problem of overcrowding and one of the solutions is building new cities on the outskirts of metropolises to accommodate the increasing population of big cities.

New cities will face the problems of overcrowding if there is a lack of proper infrastructure.

The need to build new cities in Iran was discussed in 1981. Between 2001 and 2011, the project of building new cities called “Mehr Housing” was started, but it did not have the proper infrastructure.

Pardis City, located in Tehran, has got a better infrastructure in comparison with other cities of Mehr Housing Project.

According to a census in 2016, the city had a population of 73,363 people.
