“During the last week talks with South Korean Foreign Minister, he vowed to do his best to resolve the issue,” Zarif said.
“Tehran and Seoul agreed on repatriation mechanism of Iran’s assets from South Korea but apparently Seoul has not yet received necessary permissions and says it is pursuing the case,” he added.
“Iran considers that obtaining a permission from the Americans is unnecessary but South Korea insists to get green light from the US for releasing Iran's frozen funds in South Korea,” Zarif went on to say.
