Iranian film “No Choice” to be screened at Chennai Int’l Film Festival

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian feature film “No Choice” directed by Reza Dormishian will be screened at the 18th Chennai International Film Festival.

It will be the third international presence of the Iranian feature film. The film has formerly participated in the 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival in Japan and the 21st edition of the Asiatica Film Festival in Italy.

“No Choice” won the Best Film, the Best Audience, and the Best NETPAC awards at the 21st edition of the Asiatica Film Festival in Italy.

The film is starring Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Negar Javaheriyan, and Parsa Pirouzfar. The film’s cast also includes Maryam Boubani and Parivash Nazariyeh.

The 18th edition of the Chennai International Film Festival will be held from February 18 to 25, 2021.

The sections in the festival, which is supported by the government of Tamil Nadu, will include world cinema, a Tamil feature film competition, Indian panorama, retrospective and country focus.
