Trading over 619 thousand tonnes of commodities on IME

Tehran (ISNA) - During weekdays ending up to September 24, 2020, while over 619,083 MT of commodities worth over 305 million USD were traded on the Iran Mercantile Exchange.

According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 321,331 MT of various products worth close to 170 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 301,009 MT of steel, 7,700 MT of aluminum, 6,880 MT of copper, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates, 610 MT of zinc ingot as well as 5,000 MT of iron ore concentrates were traded by customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 291,276 MT of different commodities with the total value of 192 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 40,000 MT of VB feed stock, 75,332 MT of bitumen, 78,766 MT of polymer products, 50,368 MT of chemical products, 17,000 MT of lube cut oil, 1,795 MT of insulation, 2,365 MT of base oil, 150 MT of argon as well as 25,500 MT of sulfur were traded.

Furthermore, 6,476 MT of commodities were traded on the side market of the IME.
