Sheffield Doc/Fest 2020 invites 3 Iranian films

Tehran (ISNA) - Sheffield International Documentary Festival (SIDF), the U.K.’s leading documentary festival, has unveiled a line-up for its 2020 edition featuring 115 films from 50 countries, including 3 Iranian films.

The official selection includes 31 world premieres, 15 international premieres, five European premieres and 40 UK premieres. Films span 50 countries and represent 49 spoken languages, with 22 UK productions.

Due to coronavirus, this year’s festival is largely taking place online from June 10. The June event is also extending its activities throughout the rest of the year both in Sheffield and virtually.

The three Iranian documentary films “Gracefully” directed by Arash Es’haghi, “Galena” by Ezzatollah Parvazeh and “The Art of Living in Danger” by Mina Keshavarz will be screened at the event.
