The head of media and public relations of the festival, Kayvan Kassirian said, “Following the worldwide breakout of coronavirus and the unclear perspective of any improvement in the situation during a short period of time, we decided to hold the festival in June, 2020 after reviewing restrictions in most of infected countries, coordination with the head of Cinema Organization of Iran, and talks with International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF)”.
