Trading more than $738 million of various commodities on IME

Tehran (ISNA) - During weekdays ending up to January 9, 2020, about 674,201 MT of commodities worth over 738 million USD were traded on Iran Mercantile Exchange.

According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 242,111 MT of various products worth close to 357 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 231,899 MT of steel, 4,740 MT of copper, 4,660 MT of aluminum, 110 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates, 360 MT of zinc ingot and 10 MT of lead ingot as well as 23 kg of gold bullion were traded by customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 431,606 MT of different commodities with the total value of 401 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 132,555 MT of bitumen, 127,000 MT of VB feed stock, 75,813 MT of polymer products, 36,740 MT of lube cut oil, 29,185 MT of chemical products, 1,372 MT of base oil, 660 MT of insulation, as well as 29,095 MT of sulfur were traded.

Furthermore, 814 MT of commodities were traded on the side market of IME.
