Iran’s Parliament adopts triple-urgency motion in response to US’ terrorist act

Tehran (ISNA) – Iran’s Parliament has unanimously passed a triple-urgency motion in response to US’ terrorist act in assassination of the late commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps’ Quds Force Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and his companions.

All the 233 lawmakers present at an open session of the parliament on Tuesday unanimously adopted the triple-urgency motion, which will amend an earlier law that labeled American forces based in West Asia — known as the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) — as a terrorist organization.

The motion branded as terrorists all staff members of the Pentagon and affiliate companies and institutions in addition to those involved in General Soleimani’s assassination, including the commanders and those who issued the orders, Press TV reported.

The government is also slated to allocate 200 million € from the National Development Fund of Iran to the IRGC’s Quds Force.
