Trading $738 billion of various commodities on IME

Tehran (ISNA) - During weekdays ending up to December 5, approximately 638,838 MT of commodities worth over 738 million USD were traded on Iran Mercantile Exchange.

According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 233,420 MT of various products worth close to 338 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 213,958 MT of steel, 5,360 MT of copper, 6,680 MT of aluminum, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 5,000 MT of iron ore and 12 MT of precious metal concentrates, 2,400 MT of coke, 5,000 MT of iron ore as well as 6 kg of gold bullion were traded by customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 400,020 MT of different commodities with the total value of 399 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 137,064 MT of bitumen, 113,000 MT of VB feed stock, 92,877 MT of polymer products, 4,500 MT of lube cut oil, 37,519 MT of chemical products, 650 MT of insulation, 3,128 MT of base oil, 70 MT of argon as well as 12,070 MT of sulfur were traded.

Furthermore, 5,398 MT of commodities were traded on the side market of IME.
