سید عباس موسوی . سخنگوی وزارت امور خارجه

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi announced that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) joint commission meeting will be held on December 6, 2019.

At Monday press conference, Mousavi said, “The meeting of the Joint Commission of the JCPOA will be held on December 6, with participation of Iran and the 4+1 countries [Russia, China, France, the United Kingdom and Germany] at deputy foreign ministers-level”.

“The participants of the meeting will discuss the latest development of the situation around the JCPOA and the meeting will probably take place in Vienna,” he added.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Mousavi referred to recent unrest in Iran and said, “The unrest was unpleasant but more unpleasant than these events were the meddling of foreign countries in Iran’s internal affairs”.

Condemning the recent unrest and meddling of foreign countries in Iran’s internal affairs, the spokesman stressed, “Iran considered holding protests as a right for its people which is stipulated in the constitution”.

Mousavi also announced that South Korean special envoy will travel to Iran today and Iranian senior officials will also travel to some countries in near future.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Mousavi hoped that the regional countries respond positively to Iran’s call for peace, saying, “A number of countries are reviewing Iran’s peace initiative for the Persian Gulf named Hormuz Peace Endeavor (HOPE), while three others have already responded positively to it”.
