Iran-Georgia parliamentary friendship group holds talks with Zarif


Tehran (ISNA) - The chairman of Iran-Georgia parliamentary friendship group in Georgian parliament, Shalva Kiknavelidze met with Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif.

Referring to the importance and role of parliamentary groups in developing bilateral relations, Zarif underlined the capacities of the two countries’ cooperation in various sectors including tourism, transportation and energy and explained Iran’s point of views about expanding cooperation in the mentioned sectors.

Iranian foreign minister has also underscored that multilateral cooperation among the regional countries is beneficial to all nations and countries in the region.   

Kiknavelidze, for his part, referred to historical relations between the two countries and explained his country’s point of views about expansion of bilateral cooperation.
