Iran condemns Pompeo’s interfering remarks

سید عباس موسوی . سخنگوی وزارت امور خارجه

Tehran (ISNA) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi reacted to U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's backing for a group of rioters in certain Iranian cities, condemning such interfering remarks and supports.

“Iran's dignified people know well that such hypocrite remarks are completely void of sincere sympathy and actions by a number of saboteurs and rioters have nothing to do with the nature of the Iranian intelligent and foresighted people,” he said.

Mentioning wicked intentions of the US administration, especially foreign secretary towards the Iranian nation, Mousavi added, “It seems weird to see sympathizing with a nation suffering from the US' economic terrorism and the same person who has already said that the Iranian people should be starved to surrender”.
