Presence of Iranian filmmakers, actors at 2019 Tokyo Int. Film Festival

Tehran (ISNA) – Three Iranian films will be screened at different sections of the 32nd Tokyo International Film Festival on Saturday.

According to ISNA reporter, Iranian film “Just 6.5” will be screened at the competition section of the event with its director Saeed Roustaee and actor Navid Mohammadzadeh in attendance.

This riveting film centers on a showdown between the Iranian police and a drug gang. Taking aggressive measures, the chief detective moves ever closer to the boss. The investigative process, junkies’ hangouts, and jail conditions are all powerfully rendered.

“The Oath” directed by Mohsen Tanabandeh and “Old Men Never Die” by Reza Jamali will be also screened at the Asian Future section of the festival with their directors in attendance.

Navid Mohammadzadeh, Mohsen Tanabandeh, Reza Jamali, and Saeed Roustaee arrived in Japan on Thursday to participate in their movies’ screening.

The 32nd Tokyo International Film Festival opened on October 28 and runs until November 5, 2019 in Japan.
