President Rouhani to visit Baku on Thursday

Tehran (ISNA) – Iran’s President, Hassan Rouhani will travel to Baku on Thursday upon the official invitation of Azeri President, Ilham Aliyev.

Iranian President’s deputy chief of staff for communications and information, Alireza Moezi said, “President Rouhani will travel to Baku to attend the 18th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit”.

“In addition to delivering speech about Iran's position on important regional and international issues, President Rouhani is to hold bilateral talks with his Azeri counterpart on the most important issues in Tehran-Baku relations as well as implementing of agreements and joint projects,” he added.

“President Rouhani is also due to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from other countries on the issues of mutual interests, regional and international topics,” Alireza Moezi noted.

President Rouhani will come back to Iran Friday night.
