Spectacular presence of Iranian filmmakers’ works at VIFF

Tehran (ISNA) - The 38th Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) in Canada will host a number of Iranian feature, short and animation films.

Feature films “Castle of Dreams” directed by Reza Mirkarimi and “Tehran: City of Love” by Ali Jaberansari will be screened at the Contemporary World Cinema section of the event.

Iranian short film “Freedom of Breath” directed by Yasin Farrokhi and short animation “Tangle” by Malihe Ghloamzadeh are another Iran cinema’s representatives which will be screened at the International Shorts section of the VIFF.

Moreover, Iranian documentary “Coup 53” directed by Taghi Amirani, “Song Sparrow” by Farzaneh Omidvarnia and “Marghe and her mother” by Mohsen Makhmalbaf are also Iran’s representatives at the event.

The 38th Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) runs from Sept. 26 to Oct. 11 in Canada.
