Zarif announces Iran’s condition to return to full compliance with JCPOA

نشست خبری محمدجواد ظریف،وزیر امورخارجه

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif in an interview announced Tehran’s condition to return to full compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

According to NHK WORLD, Mohammad Javad Zarif gave an interview to leading German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung.

He has hinted that Iran could quickly revert to full compliance with the JCPOA if it can resume its exports of crude oil.

Iran partially halted some its obligations to the 2015 nuclear deal after the United States unilaterally and illegally withdrew from the agreement and imposed a ban on trade in Iranian oil.

Zarif suggested in the interview that this would happen unless steps are taken to protect Iran's economy from the US sanctions. But he also said Iran could revert to full compliance with the nuclear deal within hours if it can export oil again.
