IRGC kills a number of anti-revolutionaries in Western Iran

Tehran (ISNA) – Forces of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) clashed with a group of anti-revolutionaries in Kurdistan province, western Iran, during which a border guard of IRGC was martyred.

According to a statement released by Hamza Sayyid al-Shuhada Base, border guards of IRGC clashed with a counter-revolutionary group in the city of Sarvabad in Kurdistan province on Friday.

A border guard of IRGC named Seyyed Hadi Ojagh was injured in clashes but succumbed to his wounds en route to the hospital.

A number of the anti-revolutionaries were also killed and wounded and a considerable amount of their weapons and ammunition was destroyed.

A manhunt is launched for a number of terrorists who had fled the region.
