7 Iranian short films to vie at Romania’s SHORT TO THE POINT

Tehran (ISNA) – Seven Iranian short films will be screened in 10th “SHORT TO THE POINT” Film Festival in Romania.

These Iranian short films include “Umbra” directed by Saeed Jafarian, “Shahrivar” by Samira Norouz Naseri, “Block” by Mostafa Rabani, “Bitter Sea” by Fatemeh Ahmadi, “Blue Sky, Clean Earth” by Mahyar Mandegar, as well as two animated pieces “Watch Me” by Reza Mehranfar and “Tangle” by Maliheh Gholamzadeh.

SHORT TO THE POINT (STTP) is an international network of distribution, broadcast and promotion of short films started its work since 2009. It comes with a number of opportunities for promoting, broadcasting and distributing the films entered into the festival. STTP offers professionals and amateurs the opportunity to see their short films projected in unconventional cinemas across Romania. Each month, STTP jury selects the winning short films for each category. All monthly winners at STTP Monthly Awards will be screened in more than 30 cities. They will also compete at SHORT to the Point annual event. Each year, STTP organize a ceremony where it gives awards and trophies to the winners for all categories of films.

Winners of the 10th SHORT TO THE POINT Film Festival will be announced on March 31, 2019.
