“Once Hamoun” to attend Water Docs Film Festival

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian documentary film “Once Hamoun” directed by Mohammad Ehsani is due to be screened at the Water Docs Film Festival.

The 8th Water Docs Film Festival will be held March 21-24, 2019 in Toronto, Canada.

“Once Hamoun” will be screened March 22 in the sector of “The Impact of Water: What Happens When There's Not Enough?”

The documentary reviews the numerous environmental and social problems caused by the shrinkage of Lake Hamoun in the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan-Baluchestan.

The film has also won the Jury Prize at the Cine’Eco, an international environmental film festival in Portugal and the prize of Slovakia international environmental film festival known as “Eco Top” and has attended New York’s Greenpoint Film Festival, Italy’s Torino Film Festival and Armenia’s SunChild International Environmental Festival, as well as Brazil’s International Environmental Film Festival.
