Tehran (ISNA) - The head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi rejected the US national security adviser John Bolton’s recent claim that Tehran has gave false information to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), saying, “Has Mr. Bolton ever said the truth and right thing?”

About Iran’s nuclear industry, Mr. Salehi told reporters, “We achieved the technology thanks to Iranian experts and engineers’ endeavor but of course, we used foreign books and articles in this regard. However we established the industry in our country and no longer have any dependence on anyone and we are able to develop the industry day by day”.

Answering to a question that Europeans have said Iran would not leave the nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), he said, “The decision about leaving or staying in the nuclear deal will be made by supervisory board on JCPOA and it will be made based on national interests and sovereignty,” he stressed.
