Zarif to visit India, Iraq aimed at expanding comprehensive cooperation

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bahram Qassemi announced that Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif will pay a visit to India and Iraq.

Stressing that Mr. Zarif will travel to India in coming days aimed at expanding comprehensive cooperation, Qassemi said, “Given the kind of cooperation between Iran and India and their capacities, the upcoming visit is of great importance”.

Heading a large economic delegation, Zarf will travel to India and then he will pay a visit to Iraq and the private sector may also accompany him to Baghdad, according to Qassemi.

He added, “In the framework of continuation Iran’s permanent and unchangeable policy toward neighboring countries as well as expanding comprehensive cooperation, deepening economic- commercial relations and political consultations, Foreign Minister Zarif will travel to neighboring countries in near future”.

“Iran always looks for peaceful coexistence and better relations with neighbors and regional countries as well as a collective effort for peace, stability and sustainable security in the region and further expansion of economic cooperation,” the spokesman added.
