Iran, china banking ties to be developed

Tehran (ISNA) - Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), Abdolnaser Hemmati discussed banking and financial relations between Iran and china and the means of improving the ties, during a meeting with Chinese ambassador to Tehran.

Mentioning the established stability in Iran’s economic markets, the Chinese ambassador said, “China is interested in expanding strategic and long-term relations with Iran and has considered negotiations and plans in its agenda toward the issue”.

Insisting on the need of expanding banking and financial relations between the two countries, governor of the central bank of Iran said, “Despite US’ attempts to block Iran’s financial and banking relations, numerous countries have secured and developed their banking and financial relations with Iran through presenting different solutions”.

According to Iran’s Central Bank announcement, the two sides also stressed on the need of accelerating the process of solving banking problems between the two countries and developing economic relations in different areas.
