Iranian films participating in 2 A-list festivals

Tehran (ISNA) – The 2018 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia and 2018 International Film Festival of India in Goa are host of a number of Iranian films in different categories.

The 22nd edition of Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival which considers as one of the 15 A-list festivals around the globe began on November 16 and will run through December 2, 2018 in Tallinn, Estonia.

Iranian film “Sheeple” directed by Houman Seyyedi attends the main competition section of the event.

Additionally, “Kajal” directed by Nima Saleh Yar, “Iro” by Hadi Mohaghegh, “Everybody Knows” by Asghar Farhadi and “Firecrackers” by Jasmin Mozaffari as well as “Role” directed by Farnoosh Samadi, “Blister” by Morteza Shams, “Birthday Night” by Omid Shams and “AUGENBLICKE a blink of an eye” by Kiana Naghshineh are other Iranian feature and short films that will be screened in the event.

Moreover, 49th International Film Festival of India which also considers as one of the 15 A-list festivals around the globe began on November 20 and will run through November 28, 2018 in Goa, hosting 212 films from 68 countries across the world.

Iranian film “Iro” directed by Hadi Mohaghegh is among 15 films thatparticipate in competition section of the event.

“3 Faces” directed by Jafar Panahi, “The Old Road” by Manijeh Hekmat and “Border” by Ali Abbasi are other Iranian film that will go on silver screen at the event.
