Yeva wins Best Film award at Rolan Int’l Film Festival

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian feature film “Yeva” directed by Anahid Abad won the Best Film award at the 14th Rolan International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Armenia.

“Yeva” tells a story of a woman suspected of murder flees to an Armenian village with her young daughter in tow. She escapes her influential in-laws with her daughter Nareh, after her husband's tragic death and takes refuge in one of the villages of Karabakh, Azerbaijan. Yeva is a complete stranger in this village and is obliged to live her daily life in disguise.

14th Rolan International Film Festival for Children and Youth was held on 6-10 November 2018 in Yerevan, Armenia.
