Tehran (ISNA) – The Guardian Council rejected the bill on joining of Iran to the Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) convention, council’s spokesman Abbasali Kadkhodaei said on Sunday.

“The Guardian Council held several meetings regarding the CFT bill and reviewed it. At the end, the council determined that the bill has flaws and ambiguities,” Kadkhodaei said in a tweet.

“CFT bill is against the religious law, the Constitution and is ambiguous.” he added.
