42nd São Paulo Int’l Film Festival to screen 8 Iranian films

Tehran (ISNA) – The 42nd edition of São Paulo International Film Festival in Brazil will host 8 works belong to Iranian directors in various sections.

During the film festival is to be held in Brazil October 18-31, 2018, two Iranian films “Reza” directed by Alireza Motamedi and “Orange Days” by Arash Lahooti will be screened at the competition section.

This year, Leon Cakoff Prize will go to Iranian director, Jafar Panahi which will be coincided with the screening of his new work “3 Faces”.

“Iro” directed by Seyed Hadi Mohaghegh, “Ava” by Sadaf Foroughi, “Sunset Truck” by Abolfazl Saffary, “Firecrackers” by Jasmin Mozaffari and “The Miseducation of Cameron Post” by Desiree Akhavan are other works belong to Iranian directors which will be screened at the 42nd edition of São Paulo International Film Festival in Brazil.
