Trading over 270 thousand tonnes of various commodities on IME

Tehran (ISNA) - During weekdays ending up to October 4th, approximately 270,167 MT of commodities worth over $340 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange.

According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 73,479 MT of various products worth close to $105.4 million were traded.

On this trading floor, 69,060 MT of steel, 2,180 MT of copper, 2,500 MT of aluminum as well as 9 MT of precious metal concentrates were traded by the customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 153,642 MT of different commodities with the total value of $227 million were traded.

On this trading floor, 49,523 MT of bitumen, 1,390 MT of insulation, 65,855 MT of polymer products, 25,544 MT of chemical products, 11,300 MT of sulfur and 30 MT of gases were traded.

Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME, 42,100 MT of various commodities worth over $9.3 million were traded. On this trading floor, 40,400 MT of wheat and 1,700 MT of sugar were traded by customers.
