Iran’s vice-president departs Tehran for East Africa

Tehran (ISNA) – At the head of a high-ranking delegation, Iranian vice president for science and technology Sorena Sattari departed Tehran for East Africa on Tuesday to develop exports and international knowledge-based businesses.

Representatives of Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade Promotion Organization and Export Development Bank of Iran as well as heads of 45 knowledge-based companies are accompanying Sorena Sattari during the visits to Kenya and Uganda.

The fields of activity of the delegation members include health, medical equipment, herbal and chemical medicines, IT, chemical, electric and electronic, hi-tech machinery, engineering and mine industries.
