4 Iranian documentary films to attend Asiatica Film Festival

Tehran (ISNA) – Four Iranian documentary films including Abbas Kiarostami’s lates work, “24 Frames” will be screened at Asiatica Film Festival’s competition section.

The festival which is due to be held October 4-10 in Rome, Italy will also host a documentary film about Ayatollah Khomeini’s wife named "Lady Qods of Iran" directed by Mostafa Razaq-karimi.

The movie has also won the best documentary film prize of Iran’s international Cinema Verite festival.

Kourosh Ataei’s “Finding Farideh” is another representative of Iran in the cinematic event, narrating the story of Faride who is turning 40 and has been adopted by a Dutch couple.

“About Salesman” is another Iranian documentary film directed by Vahid Sedaghat, showing all the process of producing “The Salesman”, Asghar Farhadi’s Oscar won movie.

Asiatica is an annual festival, reviewing documentary and feature films of selected Asian directors.
