Iran’s army unveils 4 new achievements

Tehran (ISNA) – Iran’s Army unveiled its four new achievements on Monday, during a ceremony where a number of senior officials including Iran’s army ground force commander, Brigadier general Naser Arasteh were in attendance.

The new unveiled achievements of Iranian Army are vertical-flying drone named “Hodhod 4”, a new military command and control system for establishing communication between operational units, fireproof ammo box, and 155mm simulator tube.

“Hodhod 4” has an operational range of 100 kilometers and can fly continuously for 4 hours. The weight of this drone is 20kg.

The military command and control system will be used for establishing voice, visual and data communications between operational unites.

The fireproof ammo box has a fireproof, waterproof and shockproof cover that can withstand up to 1200 degrees centigrade.

The 155mm simulator tube covered with nickel phosphorus which increases the life of gun barrels to 40%.
