“Europe trying to provide executive mechanisms of proposed package to Iran”

Tehran (ISNA) - The head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, who is in Germany, held a meeting with the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee in German parliamentary.

Insisting on Iran`s stabilizing role in the region, the head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations Kamal Kharazi said, “Foreign interventions in other countries to destabilize them in one hand and America and Israeli`s bullying behaviors against Palestinians on the other hand, are among the important reasons of West Asia destabilization”.

During the meeting with the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Germany parliament Norbert Röttgen, Kharazi discussed the regional issues, bilateral ties as well as Germany and Europe’s role in preserving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCOPA).

Stating that situations in Middle East has not been ever destabilized since the beginning of Palestinians and Israeli conflicts, Mr. Röttgen also said, it is necessary that countries in the region lay out initials and resolves to control the situation.

“Foreign interventions in other countries to destabilize them in one hand and America and Israeli`s bullying behaviors against Palestinians on the other hand, are among the important reasons of West Asia destabilization. Iran has tried to play a role for stabilizing the region despite the crisis around it while has been successful to maintain its security,” Mr. Kharazi answered.  

About the stabilization of the region, he stated, “The countries in the region should talk without foreign interventions. Iran is ready to take part in real and practical talks with its neighbors and believes that if there is a valid will, these talks will be fruitful. Europe can also play a positive role in helping these calls”.

About European commitment to preserve the JCOPA, Mr. Röttgen said, “Europe is trying to provide executive mechanisms of proposed package to Iran as soon as possible”.
