Iran’s Zarif writes a letter to EU’s Mogherini

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote a letter to EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini, explaining Iran’s stance on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) after US’ withdrawal.

Mr. Zarif, who is in Brussels to meet with his British, German and French counterparts as well as Federica Mogherini, wrote the letter before traveling to Belgium.

In the letter to Mogherini, Zarif explained Iran’s stance on JCPOA following US’ withdrawal from the international agreement.

Mr. Zarif had also previously written on the same subject a letter to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
