Tehran (ISNA) - Chief of General Staff of Iranian Armed Forces announced that the traditional bipolar system has collapsed in the world and new powers have emerged in the West and East, stressing that US and some other powers are developing disorder and chaos by deploying military units and employing bullying behavior.

Chief of General Staff of Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri made the remarks during the 6th Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) which has kicked off in Tehran on Monday.

“Some powers and regional actors do not take on the new realities of the world and unfortunately no parts of the world is protected from the damages. US and some other powers are developing disorder and chaos by deploying military units and employing bullying behavior,” General Bagheri said.

“By supporting Daesh, the United States has plagued a large part of the West Asia and paved the way for killing and displacing civilians. Recent airstrike by US and its allies on Syria is a clear example of illegal behavior and they pave the way for erupting war by exporting weapons to countries such as Saudi Arabia,” he added.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran has never surrendered and will not yield to the United States and its allies and by relying on its power, Iran has extended the hand of fraternity to its neighbors,” General Bagheri insisted.
