AEOI spokesman travels to China

Tehran (ISNA) – The spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Behrouz Kamalvandi has traveled to China at the head of an expert delegation.

AEOI spokesman and deputy for International, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Kamalvandi traveled to China to participate in the Seminar on Iran-China Civil Nuclear Cooperation Under the JCPOA.

Seminar on Iran-China Civil Nuclear Cooperation Under the JCPOA, which had already been held in Brussels, Moscow and Isfahan, kicked off in Beijing on Wednesday April 11.

Representatives of 5+1 countries (China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, plus Germany) are also participating in the event underway in Beijing.

During the seminar, participants are due to exchange views on different issues including international nuclear cooperation within the framework of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). The seminar's programs also include a visit to the Chinese nuclear facilities by the Iranian engineers and scientists.

On the sideline of the seminar, Mr. Kamalvandi held a meeting with his Chinese counterpart and discussed the developing bilateral cooperation in nuclear issues.
