Iran, Oman to hold 17th Joint Economic Commission

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian ambassador to Oman emphasized that Iran and Oman cultural, religious, geographical and historical communication had special importance and undoubtedly the role of the two countries’ leaders were important for expanding relationships.

“The efforts of Sultan of Oman Sayyid Qaboos bin Said Al Said at the beginning of Iran and P5+1 group talks on nuclear issue points to the importance of his role in developing the bilateral relations with Tehran,” Iranian ambassador to Oman Mohammad Reza Noori Shahrodi said at the 39th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

Iranian ambassador to Oman insisted, “Consultations and coordination between Tehran and Muscat on bilateral, regional and international issues constantly goes ahead and the two countries will hold their 17th Joint Economic Commission in next few months.
