Tehran (ISNA) – Foreign ministers from Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic condemned US President’s decision to recognize Jerusalem al-Quds as the “capital” of Israel.

Following a trilateral meeting among Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Turkish and Azeri counterparts, Mevlut Cavusoglu and Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku, Zarif said, “Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic agreed to increase cooperation in private sector”.

“These meetings are useful and efficient for regional cooperation. We discussed cooperation in different economic fields including transit, transportation, customs and technology,” he added.

“We also exchanged views about political issues including cooperation for promotion of regional peace and stability,” Zarif went on to say.

“We hope to witness the implementation of the cooperation in near future,” he said.
