Iran sympathizes with Syria over Deir ez-Zor terror attack

بهرام قاسمی

Tehran (ISNA) - Iranian foreign ministry spokesman has offered sympathy to Syria over the ISIS terrorists’ deadly bombing in Deir ez-Zor, which killed and wounded hundreds of people.

In a Sunday statement, foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi condoled with the Syrian nation and government and the families of those killed and wounded in the ISIS car bombing in a refugee camp in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor.

"Such inhumane and brutal acts by the ISIS terrorist group are clear indication of the group’s frustration and defeat," Qassemi said, adding that the end of ISIS is near thanks to the resistance and unity of the Syrian nation and government.
