Unlike US Iran complied with nuclear deal: Zarif

توئیت ظریف

Tehran (ISNA) - In a twitter message, Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif reacted to remarks by the US officials, accusing Iran of violating the nuclear deal reached between Tehran and the major world powers, by launching the Simorgh (Phoenix) satellite carrier into the space.

“Iran – unlike the US – has complied in good faith with the letter and spirit of the JCPOA. Rhetoric and actions from the US show bad faith,” Zarif tweeted.

“Every word of JCPOA carefully negotiated. Iran does not develop missiles that are DESIGNED to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons,” he added.

“Iran is not and will not be developing nuclear weapons; so by definition cannot develop anything DESIGNED to be capable of delivering them,” Iran’s top diplomat noted.
