Iran, Mauritania to expand economic cooperation

Tehran (ISNA) – Mauritanian minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism called for developing economic cooperation with Iran.

During a meeting with Iranian ambassador to Nouakchott Mohammad Omrani, Mauritanian minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Naha Mint Hamdi Ould Mouknass hoped that the two countries expand their economic cooperation.

“Mauritania is ready to collaborate with Islamic Republic of Iran in all economic and commercial fields. We are aware of Iran’s experience and capabilities and Nouakchott enjoys a good capacity for the participation of Iranian investors” she said.

The Iranian ambassador, for his part, also hoped that economic cooperation between the two countries further develops.
