Iran exports $900 million fisheries, aquatics products

Tehran (ISNA) – Iran exported more than $500 million fisheries products and $412 million aquatics in the last fiscal year (March 2016-17), head of Iran's Fisheries Organization Hassan Salehi announced.

“Fisheries are developing and currently we produce 1.70 tons aquatics.” Salehi who is also deputy agriculture minister said.

“Iran is in first place in shrimp farming in the region and we exported more than 14 thousand tons during last fiscal year,” he added.
