Iran Aseman Airlines inks MOU for sixty B737 MAX

Tehran (ISNA) - Iran Aseman Airlines has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Boeing for the purchase of sixty B737 MAX aircraft.

The order entails thirty firm aircraft with options for thirty more, ch-aviation reported.

The ceremony took place in Tehran on Tuesday, April 4. The first of the jets are reportedly due to deliver in 2022.

The order will be the second by an Iranian carrier since international sanctions were eased last year. The US manufacturer has already inked a firm order agreement with Iran Air for fifty B737 MAX 8s among other aircraft.
